Upgrades – Inexpensive Wedding Venues Georgia:
We offer additional services as upgrades to our Facility Fees that allow you to customize your wedding to your exact needs. Here are just a few of the optional upgrades we offer:
BYOB: We give you the option of providing your own adult beverages to your guests at no additional charge. However, we do require that you purchase a Liquor Liability Policy naming us as additional insured. Policies typically start at around $100. Ask for details.
Photography: $995 to $2995 Although you are welcome to use your own photographer, we highly recommend our house photography team… For Always Photos. Packages include a copyright release and delivery of your images via an online gallery allowing you to make as many copies as you wish! Ask for details.

Ceremony Sound Upgrade: $250 Want your guests to hear your vows? Thinking about how to play music during your ceremony? This upgrade includes a sound technician operating our Ceremony Sound System, access to our huge library of ceremony music, and a wireless lapel microphone so your vows are heard by all.
Golf Cart Rental: $100 per day You are welcome to use our golf cart throughout the day to prepare for your ceremony and to transport elderly guests to/from the ceremony. Drivers must be at least 21 years old.
Early Entry: $100 per hour Your rental begins at 10:00 am. You can check in early for an additional fee of $100 per hour.

Q: How many people can you accommodate?
A: Our facility is designed for up to 100 guests. Your rental includes enough tables and chairs for 100 people. Additional charges of $20 pp apply for groups larger than 100. And, you run the risk of not having an indoor back up plan if you exceed 100 guests.
Q: How long is the facility rental?
A: You will have 13 hours use of Cavender Castle starting at 10:00 am and with the party ending at 11:00 pm. We provide an extra hour for clean-up with the rental ending at midnight. You can check in earlier than 10:00 am for an additional $100 per hour.
Q: What can I expect when I arrive the day of my event?
A: Upon arrival you will find our ceremony and reception sites clean and ready for your wedding. All tables and chairs needed will be stacked in the area you requested. The actual set-up for your event will be your responsibility as a D-I-Y rental. Be sure to arrange helpers to set up the tables, chairs, and decor to your liking.
Q: Is there anything that you do not allow at Cavender Castle?
A: Here is the “NO” list: Birdseed, Rice, Streamers, Silk Flower Petals, Confetti, and Silly String. The “YES” list includes Bubbles, Sparklers, and real Flower Petals
Candles should be enclosed in a manor to avoid the potential for fires. We suggest you consider battery operated candles as an alternative.
And, please do not tape, nail, tack or attach any decor to walls and trim without written permission of Cavender Castle.
Q: What supplies are available on-site with my rental?
A: The Utility Room has ample amounts of basic cleaning supplies, dust pans, brooms and mops for your use. Bathrooms will be stocked with ample supplies of toilet paper and paper towels but you should bring extra, just in case. All garbage cans will have additional garbage bags inside.
Q: What is your policy on serving alcohol?
A: We allow you to BYOB your alcohol at your expense. We offer an outside bar with a refrigerator and freezer you are welcome to use. Be sure to bring ice. All we ask is that you purchase Event Insurance listing us as additional insured. This is very inexpensive (premiums starting at around $100) coverage that protects all you and us in the event that one of your guests is irresponsible or injured. These insurance companies also offer Cancellation Insurance in case the event does not happen due to a variety of reasons. We suggest you check with these carriers to learn more:

Q: What will I have to do at the end of my event?
A: You must leave the facility in the same shape as when you arrived. Please remove all trash to the dumpster. All personal items should be removed before leaving the venue. Items cannot be held overnight without advanced approval. Please wipe down all countertops and sweep the floors. If there have been excessive spills you can find brooms, mops and cleaning supplies in our utility room.
Additional charges starting at $500 may be applied should you not make a reasonable effort at cleaning up after your event. A credit card will be held on file in the event of damages or poor/no cleaning after your event.
Q: Can we use your golf cart?
A: You can rent our golf cart for the day for $100. This will make your set up efforts easier. And you can use the golf cart to transport guests who need assistance getting to/from our ceremony sites.
Note that drivers must be at least 21 years old!
Q: Can we come the day before our wedding day to set up and do our Rehearsal?
A: Yes, but you will have to rent the facility for the entire day. We do discount the rental $200 off of our regular rates when you rent the facility on back to back days. Most couples do their rehearsal upon arrival on their wedding day and then use their bridal party to assist with set up duties.
Q: Do you provide wedding planning and coordination services?

Q: Are table linens included?
A: No. There are several online companies such as Smarty Had A Party that offer great prices on linens. Our tables are 60 inches round.
Q: Where can we smoke?
A: No smoking anywhere inside our facility. Outside is OK.
Q: Do you allow same-sex marriages?
A: Absolutely! We welcome everyone!
Q: Do you allow dogs?
A: Yes! We welcome your “fur babies”! Your rental includes use of our 1200 sq. foot fenced kennel for the day as well.
Q: Do you have Preferred Vendors and are we required to use them?
A: Our Preferred Vendors are listed on our website for your convenience. All provide exceptional service and competitive prices. However, you can use any vendor you desire.
Q: Can we cater the event ourselves?
A: Yes. However, all food must be prepared and cooked off site. Our kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave and warmer (for keeping your food hot).
