For thousands of years Gazebos have been used for weddings of royalty. Gazebos have been associated with special people and special occasions over the ages. Gazebo Weddings have been a prime location for exchanging vows over the ages.

In 2004 we entered the wedding business at Cavender Castle. With “The Castle” as our theme it seemed only natural to include a Gazebo as our primary ceremony site. So we purchased an ornate marble Gazebo from Italy and had it erected by craftsmen in North Georgia.

Since then, our Old World Gazebo has been our prized location for weddings In North Georgia. We have done over 1000 weddings at this special ceremony location. Gazebo weddings put us on the map as a wedding venue.

The Old World Gazebo is an elegant, unique, and timeless location for Gazebo Weddings, Dahlonega Weddings and Elopements.

We host memorable Gazebo Weddings year around at this special wedding ceremony site. Located at the bottom of a natural amphitheater we can easily handle weddings of 100 guests. If the weather does not cooperate we can move your ceremony inside our King’s Chapel.

A unique aspect of this Gazebo Wedding site is that it includes a “Grooms Walk” that allows the groom an opportunity to make a grand entrance. Then he watches his bride walking down the aisle.

The Old World Gazebo photographs especially well. If you are looking for a classic, elegant backdrop to your wedding ceremony you cannot do better!

This venue is located 100 yards from Cavender Castle. The walk is flat and easy. For elderly guests or those with mobility issues we have a golf cart available to eliminate the walk entirely.
