Rick, Cyndi, and Delaney are awesome! I was married at Cavender Castle on 4/12/2014, and I could not have planned my wedding any better. I wanted a small intimate ceremony, with close family and a few friends, and Cyndi was able to exceed my expectations! I had family come from a multitude of states just to celebrate with us, and the Durham family made them feel right at home. They were very hospitable, kind, and very sincere. It’s not every day that you come across people like the Durhams. There is something so special about this family. It was a true blessing to have Rick and Cyndi facilitate and plan our special day. Words cannot express my gratitude to the Durham family…I can only say that I am truly humbled to have had the opportunity to meet them, and share one of the most important days of my life with Rick, Cyndi, and Delaney. Thank you for making my day memorable! Oh yes, and I forgot to say that my day was PERFECT!

I remember the first time I came to the castle and you both were so nice and generous. I almost thought it was too good to be true, but I can say that I never had a bad experience with anything at the Castle. Even when I came in late, ill, and hungry I found both of you smiling, and offering me food. I just wanted to tell you thank you again for helping me have my fantasy wedding! Love Janna 

I just wanted to send a word of thanks for the amazing wedding!  It was beautiful!! Everything from beginning to end was great… stress-free… seamless. Of course it was extremely special to Brian and myself, but it was so nice for the whole family.   You guys made it the best. The photographer was awesome.  He really made sure to make my son (who can be difficult to photograph because he thinks it’s cool to look tortured in the pics) comfortable… and made it ‘cool’ to take a good picture.     The whole staff was great. All of you made it happen… made it great. Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!

Rick & Cyndi Durham are the easiest and most generous people to do business with.  All you have to do is give them a general idea of what you have in mind for your event and they do the rest.  They will kindly advise you and offer suggestions as well as listen to any suggestions you may have.  This year’s Christmas Party was a tremendous success!  I give all the credit to Rick & Cyndi.

Thank you so much for putting on the absolutely perfect wedding! I can’t tell you how many compliments I received on it, and how much fun I have reliving it through the pictures. Everything I saw from the Castle leading up to the event made me trust you all had this down to a science so I felt totally comfortable not worrying about any details, but wow, you still managed to exceed my expectations!  The set up of the event was flawless. All the tables looked lovely- I adored all the chair ties, and the centerpieces with the ivy were the ideal blend of simple and sophisticated. The ceremony site looked incredible! The food was scrumptious! You and your team are a terrific group of people and I really appreciate all you did to make sure we had a special day.

Your facility, and those working in it, are an amazing group of individuals! Such teamwork is not often seen in today’s world. Everything ran perfectly- no snags- no flaws. A few specifics: Cyndi- you and Rick went above and beyond to accommodate Danielle, Melissa, their guests, and even me! Your Servers- Couldn’t have been more pleasant and professional. This has been the most positive experience I have had at a wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah in 20 years. Thank-you from the bottom of my heart! You are an amazing team!

Dear Cyndi,  I wanted to thank you for the exceptional job you did for our daughters wedding two weeks ago. It was so nice to just enjoy the day without having to worry about anything. You took care of all the details just as you said. Your help in planning made the journey stress free. Your ideas and suggestions were most helpful.  Everyone we have heard from said what a beautiful place the Castle is and how friendly all the staff was. It really was more beautiful than I imagined.  I too found your staff to be most helpful. And your children are delightful. Spencer did a fine job as bar tender. And thank you for saving Kyle by lending me your scissors! Thanks to your upstairs accommodations I was able to “fix” his do-it-his self haircut.  Speaking of the upstairs accommodations for the wedding party, that extra service just made the pre-wedding time so relaxing and stress free.
